Reimagining Arizona's food future — one vertical tower at a time.

Arizona Vertical Ventures designs high-density aeroponic and hydroponic tower farms that grow pesticide-free microgreens, nutrient-dense algae, and leafy greens with a fraction of the water — 365 days a year. We're an early-stage startup raising our first round to build the state's next generation of local-food infrastructure.

01 · The Problem — Why Now

The desert can't keep farming like it's 1950.

Arizona grows food in one of the most water-stressed regions in North America — with irrigation methods designed for a century that had water to spare. Meanwhile, most of what Arizonans actually eat is trucked in from somewhere else.

~72%

of Arizona's water supply goes to agriculture — while Colorado River allocations shrink under federal shortage declarations.

1,500+ mi

is the commonly cited average distance U.S. produce travels from farm to plate — burning freshness, nutrition, and margin the whole way.

1,200 yrs

The Southwest's ongoing megadrought is its driest stretch in over a millennium, according to published climate research.

Demand for clean, local food keeps climbing. Water keeps shrinking. The gap in between is where we build.

Field agriculture — thirsty, seasonal, far from the plate.
Vertical towers — up to 95% less water, harvested minutes away.

02 · The Solution — Our Technology

Farms that grow up, not out.

Soilless tower systems stack production vertically, recirculate nearly every drop of water, and put the growing climate under software control — so weather never gets a vote.

Aeroponic mist channel Spectrum-tuned LEDs Oxygen-rich root zone Closed-loop reservoir — water recaptured & recirculated

Aeroponics

Roots hang in air and are fed a fine nutrient mist. Fastest growth, least water — the tech NASA studied for growing food in space.

Hydroponics

Roots sit in oxygenated, nutrient-rich water. Rock-solid consistency and reliability — the workhorse of controlled-environment agriculture.

We deploy both across stacked vertical towers, orchestrated by sensors, automated nutrient dosing, and spectrum-controlled LEDs. Crops are grown non-GMO and pesticide-free, with USDA organic certification on our Phase 1 roadmap.

The Investment Thesis

  • Water-advantaged production in the most water-stressed farm state in America.
  • Premium perishables with recurring B2B revenue — chefs and grocers reorder weekly.
  • Modular tower design points to asset-light scaling and licensable IP once unit economics are proven.
  • ESG-aligned by construction: less water, zero pesticides, near-zero food miles.

We underwrite our own risks.

Sophisticated founders name what could go wrong. Here's our honest short list — and the plan for each.

Energy intensity

Mitigated with high-efficiency spectrum-tuned LEDs, thermal design for desert climates, and an Arizona solar roadmap.

Commodity price pressure

We avoid commodity lettuce economics with a premium specialty mix — microgreens and algae — sold on B2B relationships.

Scale-up execution

A pilot-first, stage-gated capital plan: prove yields and unit economics small before spending big.

05 · Roadmap — Transparent & Ambitious

Built in phases. Funded in stages. Honest at every step.

Phase 1 WE ARE HERE

Pilot Facility & Proof of Concept

  • Secure pilot site & commission first tower arrays
  • Validate yields, cycle times & unit economics
  • Land first chef & grocer partners
  • Begin organic-certification pathway & grow-recipe v1

We're here now — raising seed capital to build Arizona Vertical Ventures' first commercial pilot.

Phase 2 NEXT

Commercial Scale-Up

  • Multi-tower production facility
  • Recurring B2B contracts with restaurants & grocers
  • Launch spirulina & chlorella production line
  • Deepen automation & Climate AI
Phase 3 HORIZON

Regional Expansion & IP Licensing

  • Additional Southwest facilities
  • License tower systems & proprietary grow recipes
  • Direct-to-consumer brand
  • Category leadership in desert CEA
